A 240mm AIO would easily handle the 7950X3D. My ideal build for this chip would be something akin to the Dan Case / Lian Li A4-H20. Pairing a 7950X3D with a 240mm AIO and a RTX 4090/4080 in that size of a case would be one hell of a build that would provide top tier performance in both gaming and production.

The max for the 7950X is 95C. You are losing much performance restricting the temperature. Your Cinebench score is low, probably due to it. You certainly do not have high idle temperature.

AIO or Custom Loop!! Let's address the elephant in the room, it can and will run hot! Your best options to cool the Ryzen 7950X is getting a 360mm or 420mm Arctic Liquid Freezer II AIO. I paired this CPU with the 420mm variant, and I was very satisfied with the temperatures at idle being between 48-56c.

80C is a very average temperature during gaming and well within safety limits, so don't worry.

For the Ryzen 7000X3D models, the maximum Tjunction (TJMax) temperature is around 89C under intense multi-thread loads. A 240mm is enough; the chip doesn't use much power. Instead, the 3D cache adds another layer of resistance that reduces heat transfer further - i.e., it's a little harder to cool.
