The Ghastly Gibus
To unlock the Ghastly Gibus you have to dominate a player wearing one. This hat has been discontinued since 2012 sadly. 🙁
The Ghostly Gibus
To unlock the Ghostly Gibus you have to dominate a player wearing one. Ever since 2012 it has replaced the Ghastly Gibus. At least it is better than no hat. 🙂
The Mildly Disturbing Halloween Mask
To unlock the Mildly Disturbing Halloween Mask you have to collect 20 Halloween pumpkins (dropped by killing players) during Halloween.
The Horseless Headless Horsemann’s Head
To unlock the Horseless Headless Horsemann’s Head you have to kill the Horseless Headless Horsemann (a boss that appears during Halloween). Just know that you don’t have to do the final hit. As long as you’re attacking the Horseless Headless Horsemann with other players you’ll still unlock it.
The Frontline Field Recorder
To unlock the Frontline Field Recorder you have to make a TF2 movie, post it to YouTube, and achieve 1,000 views on it. Sadly it is no longer obtainable normally however you can use cheats to unlock it making it technically still unlockable.
The MONOCULUS!
Like the Horseless Headless Horsemann’s Head to unlock the MONOCULUS! you have to kill or at least be attacking Monoculus (another boss that appears during Halloween).
The Full Head Of Steam
To unlock the Full Head Of Steam you have to complete 7 achievements related to the Control Point map Foundry.
The Gente Munitionne Of Leisure
To unlock the Gentle Munitionne Of Leisure you have to complete 7 achievements related to the Special Delivery map Doomsday.
The Skull Island Topper
To unlock the Skull Island Topper you have to play on the Halloween King Of The Hill map Ghost Fort. While playing you must kill Merasmus and get to Skull Island. A little fun fact: killing Merasmus on a certain level will add the attribute “killed Merasmus at level #”.
The Bombinomicon
To unlock the Bombinomicon you have to play on the Halloween King Of The Hill map Eyeaduct and get to a location called Loot Island. A little fun fact: it has an attribute that says “explode spectaculary on death” making all deaths technically gib deaths.
The Pyrovision Goggles
To unlock the Pyrovision Goggles you have to dominate a player wearing them. This cosmetic enables Pyrovision when wearing them. A little fun fact: despite no longer being obtainable normally there is a Vintage version with the attribute “witnessed the 2012 inferno”.
The Civilian Grade JACK Hat
To unlock the Civilian Grade JACK Hat you have to win 10 rounds of the game mode PASS Time.
The Military Grade JACK Hat and the PASS Time Miniature Half Jack
To unlock both of these items you need to play on the PASS Time map Brickyard and do a puzzle to unlock them. It’s difficult to explain however you can find a video on YouTube.
Unusual Haunted Metal Scrap
To unlock the Haunted Metal Scrap you have to get one of the final hits before killing the Horseless Headless Horsemann during Halloween. You can use this to craft the Horseless Headless Horsemann’s Headtaker or 1 of 3 hats being the Spine-Tingling Skull, the Spine-Cooling Skull, and the Spine-Twisting Skull.
The Unfilled Fancy Spellbook
To unlock the Fancy Spellbook you have to play on the Halloween Payload Race map Helltower and get to Skull Island in Hell.

To unlock the Spellbook Page you have to complete 4 achievements related to the Halloween Payload Race map Helltower or use the Soul Gargoyle and make trades to get a chance at getting one.
The Power Up Canteen
To unlock the Power Up Canteen you have to complete all waves in any MVM mission, craft one with 4 scrap metal, or use the Soul Gargoyle and trade with it to get a chance of getting a Kritz or Treat Canteen.
The Halloween Gift Cauldron
To unlock the Halloween Gift Cauldron you have to play the Halloween Special Delivery map Carnival Of Carnage and win all 3 bumper car games.
The Director’s Vision
To unlock the Director’s Vision you have to edit a replay.
The Alien Swarm Parasite
To unlock the Alien Swarm Parasite you have to complete the achievement called “Hat trick” on a game called Alien Swarm. It is unlocked by completing 2 co-op missions online.
The Moustachium Bar, The Spacemetal Scrap, and the ‘Fish’
To unlock all of these items you have to complete the achievements “Moustache research assistant”, “Moustache scientist”, and “Director of moustache research” on a game called SpaceChem. These can all be used to craft the Fishcake and the SpaceChem Pin.
The Spiral Sallet
To unlock the Spiral Sallet you have to complete the achievement “Mission accomplished” on game called Spiral Knights.
The Iron Curtain
To unlock the Iron Curtain you have to eliminate Heavy in Poker Night At The Inventory. Sadly Poker Night At The Inventory has been unavailable since May 23rd, 2019 making it difficult to unlock it. 🙁
The Enthusiast’s Timepiece
To unlock the Enthusiast’s Timepiece you have to eliminate Tycho Brahe in Poker Night At The Inventory. Sadly Poker Night At The Inventory has been unavailable since May 23rd, 2019 making it difficult to unlock it. 🙁
The Lugermorph and License To Maim
To unlock both of these you have to eliminate Max in Poker Night At Inventory. Sadly Poker Night At The Inventory has been unavailable since May 23rd, 2019 making it difficult to unlock it. 🙁 However pre-ordering Sam And Max: The Devil’s Playhouse before April 26th, 2010 would grant a Vintage Lugermorph making the Lugermorph still technically unlockable in Vintage form. A little fun fact: this is the same gun Max uses in Sam And Max.
The Dangeresque, Too?
To unlock the Dangeresque, Too? you have to eliminate Strong Bad in Poker Night At The Inventory. Sadly Poker Night At The Inventory has been unavailable since May 23rd, 2019 making it difficult to unlock it. 🙁
The Long Fall Loafers
To unlock the Long Fall Loafers you have to win a tournament when GLaDOS offers her item in Poker Night 2. Sadly Poker Night 2 has been unavailable since September 12th, 2018 making it difficult to unlock it. 🙁 A little fun fact: these are the same boots Chell (silent protagonist of the Portal franchise) wears throughout the games.
The Necronomicrown
To unlock the Necronomicrown you have to win a tournament when Ash Williams offers his item. Sadly Poker Night 2 has been unavailable since September 12th, 2018 making it difficult to unlock it. 🙁
The Samson Skewer
To unlock the Samson Skewer you have to win a tournament when Brock Samson offers his item. Sadly Poker Night 2 has been unavailable since September 12th, 2018 making it difficult to unlock it. 🙁 A little fun fact: this is the same bowie knife he uses throughout the Venture Bros (the show he’s from).
The Bloodhound
To unlock the Bloodhound you have to win a tournament when Sam offers his item. Sadly Poker Night 2 has been unavailable since September 12th, 2018 making it difficult to unlock it. 🙁 A little fun fact: this is the same hat Sam wears in Sam and Max.
The Dapper Disguise
To unlock the Dapper Disguise you have to win a tournament when Claptrap offers his item. Sadly Poker Night 2 has been unavailable since September 12th, 2018 making it difficult to unlock it. 🙁 A little fun fact: this is the same mask worn by Handsome Jack from game series Borderlands.
The Black Rose
To unlock the Black Rose you have to complete the achievement “1st one down” on a game called Alliance Of Valiant Arms. Sadly Alliance Of Valiant Arms has been shut down since June 29th 2018 making it unavailable to unlock. 🙁 However you can apparently buy them, they’re between $200 and $600.
The Bolt Action Blitzer
To unlock the Bolt Action Blitzer you have to complete an achievement called “Key to the city” on a game called CrimeCraft GangWars. Sadly CrimeCraft GangWars has been shut down since August 31st, 2017 making it unavailable to unlock. 🙁
The Triclops
To unlock the Triclops you have to complete the achievement “All-star agent” on a game called Super Monday Night Combat. Sadly Super Monday Night Combat has been shut down since May 24th, 2018 making it unavailable to unlock. 🙁
The Flamingo Kid
To unlock the Flamingo Kid you have to complete the achievement “Rookie agent” on a game called Super Monday Night Combat. Sadly Super Monday Night Combat has been shut down since May 24th, 2018 making it unavailable to unlock. 🙁
